Make Up Store A6
Spring is on its way and so is Spring Inspiration’s fashion show where 45 models are going to be styled and dressed to represent this year’s theme, “Four elements - fashion for life”. Make Up Store will be doing the makeup of the models for the third year in a row and two of the makeup artists that will participate are Lina Ax and Madeleine Viktorstam. They are working at the Make Up Store at A6 center in Jönköping and are both looking forward to the event.
This season’s make-up look is called Ethnic, which consists of purple, turquoises and green tones with limited amounts of shine in the shadows. These tones are all very suitable to combine with a brown color, which keeps the look down-to-earth.
By giving away that next season’s look will go under the name Coral, one can already start to imagine what colors it will be composed of. For the Spring Inspiration fashion show both Lina Ax and Madeleine Viktorstam are hoping to use lots of color in the make-up to inspire the people of Jönköping, who seem to have a hard time letting go of the long-time lasted trend; smoky eyes and red lips. “It’s like they are scared of color” says Lina Ax who suggests combining colorful eye shadow with a more neutral color to vary the makeup and get a more interesting result.
Three valuable recommendations from the Make Up Store crew:
- To maintain nice colorful lips a whole evening, Lina Ax recommends to use one of Make Up Stores lip liners as a base combined with your preference of tone of the lipstick. If you want to avoid marks when drinking a glass she suggests you to skip the lipstick and only go for a lip liner
- The most common mistakes that girls make are not to use primers. You should use two different types of primers, one for the eyes and one for the face to create a nice makeup, which lasts all day long.
- Guys, not to be forgotten, should be aware of the importance of skincare. Use a face wash and a moisturizer, which will keep your skin from drying out.
